Exciting news everyone! Tomorrow morning, we’re teaming up with SONY to promote their newest DVD release of “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs”! If you haven’t got a chance to peep this fun animated flick, there’s scenes of raining pancakes on the town of Swallowfalls and what better way to celebrate the DVD release with pancakes from the Buttermilk Truck!

From 6-8AM, tune into 102.7 KIISFM tomorrow where Ryan Seacrest, himself, will be announcing a secret password. The first 75 people to show up at The Grove at our location and correctly say the mentioned password will receive their very own DVD copy of “Cloudy with a Chance…” and an order of free pancakes!!! WOOHOO!

Afterwards, we’ll be heading over to Miracle Mile to Ryan and the KIIS Studio, serving our breakfast goodness and lunch to order for everyone else til 130PM. Soooo chime in early and listen up to 102.7 KIISFM/Ryan for mentions of the Buttermilk Truck. We’re way excited and can’t wait for everyone to join the fun tomorrow!!

This Saturday, December 12th! The Buttermilk Truck will be venturing on two exciting events for morning and night. Come and join us this weekend and a special thanks to our event holders. We’re excited to be a part of your holiday fun!

Saturday Night! We will be teaming up with JapanLA and the ever so cute bear and lover of pancakes, Rilakkuma  for a very special Christmas Party! The first 30 people wearing Christmas themed outfits will get free pancakes made by Buttermilk provided by JapanLA ! (available flavors Red Velvet and our new Gingerbread) We will also be serving the rest of our late night menu for order and dinner eats.  Other party festivities include contest for Most Outrageous Christmas outfit and photobooth pictures with Rilakkuma himself. Tis the Season! and today we debuted our new Pancake Bite flavor of December to match the holiday vibe: Gingerbread! Pair these delicious bites with a sweet zest of Pear Compote and you got yourself a unique twist to add to the holiday cheer; will get you reminiscing of your fave childhood treats of gingerbread men and houses.  Be sure to try these out when you get a chance, these are only available for a limited time this month. Our launch party at the Brig last Wednesday night was a great and MAJOR SUCCESS! To recap:

Before the 8pm opening, people have already gathered to get their first spots in line.  By 8-9pm, the line wrapped around to the other end of the parking lot as our awesome fans patiently waited to fill their breakfast cravings.

Hourly giveaways of Buttermilk totes and tshirts were passed out and the crowd wanted to get their hands on some Klippy gear. We also had an unexpected surprise visit from Glen Walker and the KCAL 9 News; taking a peek into the truck as the team was hard at work and also getting a chance to interview with owner Gigi (video here)The Brig was a great location for our launch and we couldn’t have asked for a better opening night.

Favorite eats of the night were the Chicken and Waffles, The Buttermilk Brick, and of course the Red Velvet Pancake Bites. We are stoked yall enjoyed the food and we’re super excited to get our weekly schedules going, hitting up all areas of LA and beyond.  Make sure to check the site regularly for schedule updates.
