Tight Shortz, a festival for Short Film, Music, and Art, is hosting a fundraiser at the Air Conditioned Supper Club in Venice this Monday night and the Buttermilk Truck will be there 7-9PM to serve our late night menu! First hour we will be giving away free samples of our famous Red Velvet Pancake bites, only if you say the secret password :]  (watch out for special pw on our Twitter)  Tito’s Vodka is also sponsoring $2 vodka drinks! Come out, support, eat, drink, dance, watch short films, and everything else in between!! See you soon Venice!

Please join us along with  TLofts and our fellow foody trucks to help the people affected by Haiti’s recent earthquake disaster. Portions of the proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross International Response Fund in relief efforts for the Haitian people. Event runs from 11am-4pm, we are scheduled from 12-3pm. This Sunday! We’re excited to be working with American Cinametheque to celebrate a special event for The King’s (would have been) 75th Birthday! Event will be held at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood as we’ll be serving up our breakfast goods including a special pancake flavor to honor the King’s favorite choice of sammich:  Banana-Peanut-Butter! MMM! (served only for today!). Also teaming up with  Barbies Q Truck for those wanting a BBQ-fix. Sure to be a fun-filled event with music, karaoke, and Elvis-y prizes! Exciting news everyone! Tomorrow morning, we’re teaming up with SONY to promote their newest DVD release of “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs”! If you haven’t got a chance to peep this fun animated flick, there’s scenes of raining pancakes on the town of Swallowfalls and what better way to celebrate the DVD release with pancakes from the Buttermilk Truck!

From 6-8AM, tune into 102.7 KIISFM tomorrow where Ryan Seacrest, himself, will be announcing a secret password. The first 75 people to show up at The Grove at our location and correctly say the mentioned password will receive their very own DVD copy of “Cloudy with a Chance…” and an order of free pancakes!!! WOOHOO!

Afterwards, we’ll be heading over to Miracle Mile to Ryan and the KIIS Studio, serving our breakfast goodness and lunch to order for everyone else til 130PM.
